Suyog Gangavane is a distinguished Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) professional who is redefining sustainable development through innovation, leadership, and impact-driven initiatives. As the Chief Executive Officer of Green India Initiative Pvt. Ltd. (GIIPL), he has emerged as one of India’s promising young sustainability leaders, driving transformative projects that create measurable environmental and social outcomes across the country.

At just 28 years of age, Suyog combines strong business expertise with a deep commitment to nation-building. His academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Management (Marketing) from Mumbai University, an MBA in International Business from Symbiosis International University, and a Post Graduate Programme in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. This blend of academic excellence and practical experience has enabled him to bridge the gap between corporate objectives and sustainable development goals.

Working closely and under the guidance of Dr. Sachin Shigwan, popularly known as “The Solar Man of India” and Founder & Director of Green India Initiative Pvt. Ltd. (GIIPL), Suyog has played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and implementing more than 500 solar energy and community development projects across rural India. These initiatives have focused on rural electrification, educational enhancement, clean water access, livelihood generation, and environmental conservation through renewable energy solutions.

With over a decade of experience in sales, business communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic partnerships across multinational corporations and startups, he has been instrumental in expanding GIIPL’s sustainability portfolio and strengthening collaborations with corporates, NGOs, and development organizations. His expertise lies in CSR strategy, ESG integration, impact assessment, sustainability reporting, Social Return on Investment (SROI), and stakeholder management.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Suyog serves as the youngest President of the Rotary Club of Mumbai BKC, where he actively promotes leadership development, youth empowerment, and community service initiatives. His vision is to create scalable, sustainable, and inclusive solutions that contribute to India’s social and environmental progress while helping organizations achieve meaningful ESG and CSR outcomes.
